End of 2004 Update
Brothers,
I hope that 2004 was a happy and fruitful year for you. My family and I were tremendously blessed last year and we are eager to see what’s in store for 2005.
It’s been about a year since we launched the site ZZalphas site (http://www.zzalphas.com) and I’m happy to report that we’ve been able to find and obtain e-mail address for over 120 of our brothers. I’m also happy to report that we’ve been able to successfully contact 3 of our 8 still living founders (Bros. Phail Wynn, Walter Mosley, and Jerry Johnson). We’ve also been able to put together a brief bio of the late Bro. Linton James (Omega – April 2, 1998).
With the next reunion fast approaching (Oct 2007), it’s time to kick the history gathering effort into full gear.
What we’ve done so far: We’ve been able to write bios of 4 of our 9 chapter founders. We’ve also been able to put together notes detailing the creation and early year of the chapter (1966-1968) and the beginning of some of our traditions (1969-1975).
Missing Information on Founders:As I stated earlier, we’ve completed 4 of the 9 chapter founder bios. So far, we’ve completed 4 of the 9 bios. If any brother had contact information for the following founders, please forward it to me.

Note: Any information would be of value – hometown, time served and branch of the service (if he was in the military), etc.
Omega Information: We hope to get an accurate listing of all brothers that have passed away and the date of their passing. Below is a list of all known Omega brothers and their passing dates. Even if you do not know the specific date that a brother passed, any information would useful (birthdates; hometowns; day, month, or year of passing; spouses).

So far, we only have crossing dates for 15 ships and less information about the DPs.

Transfer Brothers: Zeta Zeta has been fortunate to have the best and the brightest of other chapters transfer to OU. Many times, these brothers have just as great of an impact as “ZZ-made” brothers. It’s my hope to capture personal information (home chapter, crossing date, years at OU, etc.) for all our transfer brothers.
Thanks and Next Steps: I’ve been able to put together notes around the chapter’s inception and early years (1966-75). My next effort will be to catalog the events from 1975 through the early eighties. I’ll also be working on the 95-00 timeline. Again, let me stress that any help you provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t recognize the brothers hat have helped so far:
